ABOUT THE ARTIST

Phyllis Brodny was born in Boston. She moved to Chicago in 1959 bringing her considerable interest in visual art to the Midwest. During the 1960’s printmaking craze, her mediums of choice were etching and serigraphy. For the last ten years she created anthropomorphic still life art with photography, another print medium.

Her art has been exhibited extensively in one woman, group, and invitational shows as well as purchased for corporate and private collections.
